Integrate and apply social work competencies (Council on Social Work Education accreditation standards) learned across coursework through direct practice in an agency setting for practice-based learning. Demonstrate competency in social work knowledge, values, skills, and affective and cognitive processes for beginning practitioners.

SOWK 300 (Translational Social Work Research); SOWK 330 (Intersectionality and Identity); SOWK 341 (Generalist Practice with Groups); SOWK 410 (Social Welfare--Policy, Issues, and Advocacy); SOWK 425 (Prep and Essential Skills for Internship, may be taken concurrently.)
