Do I need to be admitted to take courses through CSU Online?
No, students do not need to be admitted to take coursework. You simply follow these steps on how to register.
How can I obtain a copy of the course syllabus?
To request a copy of the course syllabus, please email the instructor and request a copy.
How will my course with CSU transfer back to my home institution?
Transferability of coursework is dependent on your home institution and their Registrar’s Office. For information on how CSU coursework will transfer, please discuss this with your home institution. Visit this page for information on accreditation.
Am I eligible for financial aid if I’m not admitted to CSU?
If you are not attending another institution outside of CSU, we require that you are admitted to a degree or certificate to be eligible for financial aid. Financial aid eligibility is determined by the completion of the FAFSA and your home institution. For more information or questions, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.
How do I receive a copy of my transcript once my course has been completed
To request a copy of your transcript, visit the Office of the Registrar.
Do I need to show proof of prerequisite requirements as a part of my registration?
While you should have the prerequisite requirements required for your course(s), students are not required to provide transcripts in order to register. During registration you will be prompted to acknowledge that you have the background necessary to be successful in your course(s). This acknowledgement will serve as proof of prerequisites. If you have questions about how your prior educational experience impacts your ability to be successful, please contact the instructor.
