MSE 502C - Materials Science and Engineering Methods: Materials Microscopy

Introduction to modern microscopy techniques for materials research using optical microscopy. Interferometry and confocal techniques, scanning electron, microscopy transmission electron microscopy, and scanning probe microscopy.

Prerequisite

CHEM 431 (Instrumental Analysis); MECH 331 (Introduction to Engineering Materials); MATH 340 (Introduction to Ordinary Differential Equations Mathematics) or MATH 345 (Differential Equations); Senior or Graduate standing.
