Joanna Doxey has a B.A. in English and an M.F.A. in creative writing. Prior to earning her master’s degree, Joanna was an associate project editor with a textbook publisher. While in graduate school, Joanna taught creative writing and composition, as well as tutored at the Writing Center. She is currently an advisor for undergraduate English, Ethnic Studies, and Philosophy students.
Outside of work, Joanna enjoys running, skiing, hiking (and generally being outside), and internet cats. She has work published or forthcoming in CutBank Literary Journal, Yemassee, Matter Journal, Jacket2, and Tinderbox. Her first full-length collection of poetry is due out in late 2016.
