There are no specific prerequisites for the Project Management Certificate; however, it is helpful if students have some experience managing or working on projects as a part of their work.
This course follows A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)* and helps to prepare students for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® exam, offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®. As a prerequisite for the exam, PMI® requires students to have completed at least 35 hours of project management education in a PMI®-approved program. Our comprehensive course is 48 hours of project management education, so it more-than fulfills that requirement. All of the instructors in the program are PMP®-certified and all work as project managers, so the instruction is of the highest quality.
No, the PMP® exam is administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®. To find out more about the exam, please visit www.pmi.org.

Upon successful completion of the course, you receive a certificate showing that you have completed contact hours in a PMI®-approved course.
