Dr. Steven Fassnacht is a Snow Hydrologist. He is a Professor of Watershed Science in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Sustainability at Colorado State University. He is a Fellow of the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere and a Senior Research Scientist at the Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory. Hi research focuses on the spatio-temporal variability in earth surface properties, and how a changing climate impacts water resources. Dr. Fassnacht works with scientists and scholars from a variety of disciplines and from a number of countries across the globe. Dr. Fassnacht received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the University of Waterloo in 2000.
