Focus on the intersection between health and justice, specifically: 1) an overview of health systems (including health care but also social safety net, etc.); 2) an overview of justice systems (from policing through supervision/re-entry); 3) how health and justice systems interact / how health inequities drive justice involvement and vice versa; and 4) the future of public policy, administration, and management of these and other intertwined systems.
Prerequisite
Graduate standing. Credit not allowed for both PPA 578 and PPA 580A1.
