MU 590B - Workshop: Workshop For Colorado High School Orchestra Directors

Upon the completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Have information regarding practicing techniques
• Ideas for orchestra rehearsals
• Ideas for future repertoire

• Attend four rehearsals total for the ASO Symphony and ASO Philharmonic, with a written observation for each.  Topics can include, but are not limited to, structure of the rehearsal time, rehearsal techniques, leadership and musicianship.

  NOTE: WRITTEN OBSERVATIONS ARE DUE TO CAYLA BELLAMY-LANZ BY FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 20.
  
  Participants will also need to attend the Director’s session presentation by Dr. Rachel Waddel, Director of Orchestras at Colorado State University.
