For Directors session:
Analyze the four dimensions of wellness used in the CSU Artist Wellness course
Compare students in the arts from high school to professional status in terms of wellness practices
Review recent research in artist wellness
Participants will be required to attend the following during All State Orchestra, February 1-3, 2024:
Discussion session with Dr. Andrew Knight and Dr. John McGuire
“Wellness and Self-Care for Artists: Performers and Educators”
Friday, February 2- 9:30-11:00 Organ Recital Hall
Attend four rehearsals of Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestra, with written observation for each. Topics can include rehearsal techniques, pacing of rehearsals, leadership and musicianship.
