Hands-on experience in microbiology research and cultural exchange for undergraduate students. Students from CSU and Los Andes University in Colombia will work on a research project related to microbiology under guidance of a CSU and Los Andes University faculty. All students will work in the same facility equipped with appropriate equipment and supplies to conduct the student research project. Students will participate in cultural exchange and experiences in the host country (Colombia).
Prerequisite
MIP 150 (Introduction to Research Methods) or MIP 302 (General Microbiology Laboratory); Biomedical sciences majors should have priority.
