LSPA 250 - Spanish Language, Literature, Culture in Translation

The goal of the class is to develop our cultural knowledge of Spain by focusing on the Camino de Santiago. Language and content will be engaged through the following 4 categories:

• Reading: assessed in activities done before class meeings
• Speaking and Listening: assessed in conversations in the target language about cultural content.
• Writing: assessed after the class through short summary essays.

This course meets the All-University Core Curriculum (AUCC) requirements for Arts/Humanities (Category 3B) and is approved under gtPathways in the content area of Literature and Humanities (GT-AH2).
