Debbie Swann graduated from Kansas State University with a B.A. in theatre and English in 2006. From there, she pursued her master's in theatre with a directing emphasis from Texas State University. During her studies, she trained in England at The Shakespeare Center, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and The Royal Shakespeare Company. From 2008 to 2013 she taught, designed, and directed theatre at Central Community College in Columbus, Nebraska. Some of her favorite directing credits include Rumors, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Tartuffe, and Godspell. Currently, Debbie teaches CSU’s Shakespearean acting and analysis courses and also can be seen performing and directing with OpenStage Theatre Company in Fort Collins.
