HORT 100 - Horticultural Science

Principles of plant science and related disciplines as the base and context for the introduction of horticultural practices.

A successful student will be able to:

  • Recall and explain key elements of plant biology, physiology, and propagation
  • Define and discuss cultivation of plants in several areas of horticultural science
  • Recognize and give original examples of the major categories of horticultural crop production systems

CSU Main campus students are discouraged from taking the online section of this course. If you are a main campus student you may be removed from the course.
