EDRM 700 (Quantitative Research Methods) or EDRM 702 (Foundations of Educational Research) or EDRM 704 (Qualitative Research); Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate (GR) OR Professional (PR)

Lauren Vilen holds a M.Ed. in Education and Human Resources Studies with a Specialization in Adult Education and Training from Colorado State University and a B.A. in Studio Arts from Hamline University. Lauren’s research interests include adult teaching and learning theory, environmental adult education, community-based education, and the professional identity and development of non-formal educators. Lauren’s professional background includes public lands management and non-profit program management, where she developed and implemented service-learning programs and provided young adults with training and education focused on environmental stewardship and job readiness in the natural resource field.
