Dr. Peter M. Young, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, hails from the United Kingdom and received his education at Oxford University, the University of Florida, and a Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology.

Dr. Young's specialty is application of systems and control techniques to engineering problems, particularly in the areas of structural vibration suppression, control of HVAC systems, disk drives, energy generation and storage, and smart power distribution systems.
