Mechanics of Solids (which is also known as Mechanics of Materials) is the branch of engineering mechanics used to determine the internal effects of loads on deformable bodies. Topics include: stresses, strains, and deformations in structural members and machine elements; combined stresses; stress transformation. Note that the examinations must be taken in-person with a proctor at a testing center near you.
CIVE 260 (Engineering Mechanics- Statics)
This course requires students to set up a proctor for paper-based exams.
