Comprehensive treatment of cannabis plants, including their evolution, anatomy, physiology, cultivation, secondary metabolite synthesis, genetics, breeding and use by humans, with an emphasis on critical analysis of the contemporary scientific literature in the area of cannabis biology.

LIFE 103 (Biology of Organisms-Animals and Plants (GT-SC1)); Sophomore standing.. Credit not allowed for both BZ 541 and BZ 581A1
