Develop and reinforce the principles of modern bioinformatics through practical applications. Building upon an understanding of the use of R for bioinformatic analyses, the focus is four hands-on applied projects in the key areas of microbial transcriptomics, metagenomics, whole sequencing of a novel microbe, and structural bioinformatics applied to the microbiology field.
Prerequisite
Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate (GR) OR Professional (PR) or MIP 680A7 (Fundamentals of Computational Microbiology)
