Conducting empirical research related to the software development process. How to plan and execute a software engineering research study, derive actionable conclusions for industry and researchers, and present research findings effectively.

Prerequisite

CS 314 (Software Engineering with a minimum grade of C); STAT 301 (Introduction to Statistical Methods with a minimum grade of C) or STAT 315 (Intro to Theory and Practice of Statistics with a minimum grade of C)
